John Barrick is running for Oxnard City Council because he believes residents deserve a city government that listens, spends responsibly, and puts the public first.
John is concerned that too many Oxnard residents feel ignored by City Hall, frustrated by red tape, and unsure whether their tax dollars are being used wisely. He is running to bring greater transparency, stronger accountability, and renewed trust to local government.
As a prosecutor, John built his career taking on tough cases, standing up for victims, and holding people accountable. As a councilmember, he will bring that same commitment to Oxnard.
